Focused people

What is something others do that sparks your admiration?

I deeply admire seeing people who are laser-focused on their goals—so determined that nothing can deter them.

These individuals have the discipline to consistently take the necessary steps toward their dreams, whether it’s waking up early, staying off their phones, or prioritizing tasks that truly matter. They value their time and are intentional about who they allow into their lives. That level of focus and self-control is truly inspiring.

Another group of people I greatly admire are those who strive for excellence. They approach their work with grace, minimize mistakes, and consistently produce high-quality results. These are the people who never settle, always pushing themselves to improve and elevate their standards. Their dedication to excellence is something I deeply respect.

Flowers

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?

I love taking pictures of flowers. I am not a fan of plucking flowers though.

I share most of the pics here for daily prompts.

Too bad it’s winter now and I have exhausted my supplies but here are some of the coolest pics I have taken this last summer

This was the flowers when they were fading away 😩

Roses make me happy 😆

Where did all the years go?

Do you need time?

I’m turning a year older in just a few days, and honestly, I have no idea where all the time went. When did I get to this point? It’s strange to think about how much I’ve grown—my thoughts are different, my skills have expanded, and I’ve certainly made my share of mistakes.

This past year has taught me to truly appreciate the value of time and relationships. I’m learning to savor everyday moments and realizing what a privilege it is just to be here, alive and growing. One of the biggest lessons I’ve embraced is to seize opportunities when they come. I’m learning to go for it, to trust my instincts, and, perhaps most importantly, to say no when I need to.

Keeping promises to myself has become a priority, building a foundation of trust within. And, at the heart of everything, my community of faith, my relationship with God, and meaningful connections have been my greatest anchors.

I might not know exactly when I started getting “older,” but at least I’m learning something worthwhile along the way.

I am secretive 🤫

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

Why would I reveal that? Secrecy is power.

When you don’t tell people too much, it grants you a level of control and influence.

For example, if someone asks you what did you have for breakfast, you could simply say, a sandwich and coffee, no need to go too much in details. Instead ask the question back 😆 and then make them give you the detail.

Keeping things hidden allows you to maintain an advantage, since others are left without the full picture, unable to predict actions or understand motives.

This concept is often seen in political, strategic, and business environments where controlling information flow can impact outcomes.

However, excessive secrecy can also backfire if it breeds mistrust or isolation.

When secrecy is overused, opportunities for collaboration or innovation can be missed.

Open exchange of ideas and sharing of information often lead to breakthroughs and partnerships that wouldn’t happen if everything were kept under wraps. So the secret here is balance.

No one knows how the water enters inside a coconut ( 🌴 btw_this is not a coconut tree)

Scuba diving 🤿

What could you try for the first time?

I’ve always been fascinated by fish—their vibrant colors, graceful movements, and the way they seem to glide effortlessly through the water. It’s like they belong to a world completely different from ours, full of mystery and beauty. That’s why scuba diving has always intrigued me. I want to experience that underwater world firsthand, not just to observe from afar but to truly immerse myself in it.

By scuba diving, I’ll have the chance to swim alongside these incredible creatures, witnessing their behaviors up close and interacting with them in their natural habitats. It’s about exploring the hidden depths of the ocean, where every dive feels like stepping into an uncharted paradise.

Social media addiction

What details of your life could you pay more attention to?

Scrolled mindlessly for an hour today.

1 hour wasted on silly things😩. I couldn’t stop scrolling 😤

So this is a self-help post explaining how to stop the mindless scroll🫠

How to Stop 🛑 Scrolling 😩

  1. Set specific times for social media and use a app like Freedom to limit your time on social media
  2. Turn off notifications and unfollow accounts that don’t bring value to your day
  3. Find alternatives activities. Like cooking, playing an instrument or coming to reader to pick the mind of some great writers
  4. Put a post-it note on your laptop or near you that reminds you of other productive things you could be doing with your time
  5. Practice self awareness
  6. This should be number 1: Pray about it 🥹
Post-it note 🤭
