Write about your most epic baking or cooking fail.
It has been a hard fight in the kitchen, I wouldn’t lie. 6/10, I come up with something nice 😂
One time, I slept late, like 4 am, and woke up late in the afternoon. I was angry with myself for oversleeping but felt I deserved a coffee. So I made myself one, and guess what…it spilled 😩
I was trying to maintain a positive attitude, so I cleaned up after myself. I made a second cup of coffee successfully.
The twist is when I was trying to make myself a healthy breakfast. My fish also spilled on the floor 💔. At that point, I contemplated going back to bed 😄 but I had so much to do, so I continued with my day.
No food was wasted. I picked up the broken fish, picked the one I could for myself, and shared the rest with a hungry stray cat.
I am all about glowing up these days, mainly because the new school year is about to start. I have been eating more seasonal fruits and eggs. Guys, eat more eggs. I noticed that my acne and acne scars reduced when I started eating more eggs, and my nails are stronger.
Eating fruits is good. It has a way of uplifting your spirit. I had less panic attacks when I started eating more fruits and veggies.
I am into eating watermelons, cantaloupes and eggs right now 😄
I have always shied away from positions of leadership because I felt I wanted to be mentally and physically ready for it. I’ve been watching YouTube videos on leadership, trying to learn how to be a good leader. And I must say, a leader is a slave to the team. I am using the word slave here not to be negative but to show the importance of humility in leadership.
Anyone can be a leader, but what’s even better is positively impacting the organization and the team.
Painpoints of leadership
Managing conflicting team dynamics
Maintaining consistent communication
Delegating tasks effectively
Handling team burnout and motivation
Balancing short-term and long-term goals
Dealing with difficult team members
Managing time and prioritization
Navigating change and uncertainty
Making tough decisions under pressure
Aligning individual goals with organizational objectives
Being a leader is so much different from being simply good at your daily task. It is about managing God’s best creation, people.
If you want to know how to manage people, you must know how to manage yourself first. Manage your insecurities, anger, weakness and your time.
10 tips to be a good leader
Communicate clearly and effectively.
Lead by example and model the behavior you expect.
Do I see myself as a leader? Yes and I am committed to personal growth and learning. My biggest strength as a leader is empathy. I have genuine love for God’s perfect creations and I want to leave a positive impact on my team and organisations I work with.
Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.
Home 🥺
Mmm this touched a tender spot in my heart.
Home is where my family is. However, my family is currently spread all over the world, so I am a bit torn about where home is.
Let’s just say home is in South Africa because that’s where my daddy’s house is😅.
I had to leave SA unexpectedly but thankfully I had God’s backing 😊
Today home is on my phone 😊, I get to call my family and send them cute messages 😅
Furthest I ever traveled from home? 🥹 Let’s just say I carry my home with me all the time so I am never too far from home, I mean them. That is, my family ☺️
