Death to body or Life to the soul?

We leave heaven in our soul form to come to earth. We appear packaged in a physical case, and when we die, we return to our original state in heaven.

We are given different tasks and different time frames to fulfill these tasks. Each day we spend on earth, we become closer to our return back to God. The source, 1 Corinthians 8 vs. 6.

For this reason, it is unnecessary to give much attention to our physical bodies. The concept of self-love means to take care of your body, but a more significant portion means to take care of aspects of your being that are metaphysical, supernatural, and spiritual.

We should give more time and energy to our spirits because although we die physically, our spirit matures. Therefore, we must strive to keep our souls and hearts strong. How do we do this? I am still on my journey of figuring this out, and I hope you are too.

So far, I have realized that denying the body of innate desires like sex, food, pleasure, and comfort is a way of making our connection to our spiritual self.

No masturbating, consciously restraining from fast foods and alcohol and staying away from people to spare time to get to know yourself and your God. This is one way.

Many members of the woke generation say that masturbation for them is a form of meditation. However, I do not support this.

They probably have their reasons or read from some ancient book suggesting that there are benefits to masturbation. My truth is, one man’s meat is another man’s poison. It spoils the whole point of denying the body and priming the soul.

The goal here is to continuously remain in alignment with God.

Romans 12:2; Do not conform to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God. You will be able to find your purpose, talent, and anointing.

We must strive to keep our spirits pure and true to our purpose. To achieve this, we must starve the innate desires and focus on pleasing the higher energies, finding favor in their sight, and praying for blessings and spiritual growth.

Death is inevitable; our souls will return wherever they come from. However, there is a reward if we accomplish our tasks.

An alter of earth

Man walking into light

“Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you. If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it”

(Exodus 20:24-25)

Life and living are spiritual. The components of life are mind, body, soul, and spirit. All beings created in the supreme image of God have these components, Genesis 1:26-31.

The story is as follows:

God wanted to create a being similar to their-self, so they molded a piece of Earth and breathed spirit and soul into it, Genesis 2:7.

They created us and tasked us to supervise the world and worship them. I am using my pronouns consciously.

To fulfill our fundamental mission in this world, we need to be aware of ourselves. Knowledge about who we are and what our purpose is.

Romans 12 provides some answers; it says we should offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, as this is true worship. This means the most valid form of worship to God is acknowledging that we are living alters of Earth made to worship Them.

We are tasked to keep our body, mind, soul, and spirit holy.

Our purpose is to raise the vibrations of the Earth in worship to Them. Doing this will attract blessing and abundance. How do we achieve this level of worship? Find your path, love yourself, and acknowledge that higher beings are worthy of worship.
